What We Offer

As well as the usual complete range of emotions from desperation to elation, that go hand in hand with being a Sunderland supporter, we offer the following to our members:-

Tickets

The Branch orders tickets for home and away matches. Whilst there is no guarantee that applications will be successful, we have a good relationship with the ticket office and have built up loyalty points through our regular orders.
This benefits those members who are unable to attend every game as it is almost impossible for individuals to acquire tickets for away games without the required loyalty points.
Matches at the Stadium of Light are also selling out and whilst many branch members have season tickets we apply for tickets for home games as a branch so that members without season tickets sit together.

Transport

The Heart of England Branch always tries to organise transport to games for its members. Whenever there is sufficient demand the branch will lay on a luxury coach to home games, cost to members is currently £20 adults £15 juniors. All departures start from Coventry normally at 8:30am for a 3:00pm kick off.
Transport to midweek and away games can also be arranged when there is sufficient demand.
Members also liaise to share lifts to pick up points or to games when branch organised transport is impracticable.

Other Benefits

All members receive a copy of the regular newsletter "Turnips Are Big And Purple" which keeps them up to date with branch issues and affairs at the club as well as containing well written articles of interest to Mackem fans.

Monthly branch meetings are held in Coventry when members get together to share their love of the Wearsiders. Other get together sessions are held around the region.

Social events and "meet the players" evenings are also organised.
